Weber Shandwick is looking for a Executive Vice President, General Manager to join and lead our team in Atlanta.
We Are Seeking:
Our growing Atlanta office is seeking a Head of Growth and Development (EVP, General Manager) who will be charged with leading the office’s next chapter -- driving growth and transformation, building the business and reputation, and ensuring we have the talent and the teams to deliver on-the-ground or in the network. Key to that growth will be building strategic partnerships and growth plans with local IPG partners. In addition to playing a key role in the growth and nurturing of the existing Atlanta-based client relationships, the initial mandate of the role will be a careful survey of market growth opportunities and working hand-in-hand with the eastern region business development and strategic leads to implement.
This person will be responsible for ensuring that as the work in Atlanta grows so does the acumen and expertise of the Atlanta-based team – this is predicated on a seamless, intentional and regular connection to New York and the network to elevate the locally produced work product and ability of the people on the ground to deliver. It is also essential that this individual is a get-in-deep doer, innovator, ideator and creator. He/she will need to be capable of creating award-worthy and win-worthy work and be able to collaborate with, and coach others, on the path to creation. Finally, with operational support from New York, the person will be responsible for the financial health of the local operation. Key metrics will be business growth, transformation of the work – and reputation – to best-in-class (our enduring journey at Weber Shandwick).
